Monday, December 19, 2022, two Board members were privileged and blessed to meet and spend time with the Veteran and his Veteran service dog who were honored with the Servant Heart Award.

Dale, a United States Air Force Special Services Veteran served 11 tours in Irag and Afghanistan.  An RPG hit the wall behind him and his dog dug him out of the rubble. An IED hit the Humvee he was in, he was the only survivor.  He is now 100% disabled.

This humble, kind hearted Veteran spends many hours volunteering at a farm in Western North Carolina, with a mission to help Veterans.  He cares deeply for his fellow Veterans.

Haven Farms Ministries presented him with a check for $1,000 and a jumbo box of Milk Bone dog biscuits for his faithful Veteran dog.

We want to thank those who generously donated to the ministry in memory of Edward "Ed" Stanley, the father of one of our board members, who went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2021.
