What Will Be Happening On The Farm?

Veterans will have his/her own cabin in a beautiful, peaceful wooded area.  The home will be fully equipped including a washer and dryer. The covered porch will be the perfect place to relax or maybe take a nap in the hammock hanging between two majestic trees.

The length of stay for each veteran will be determined by specific needs. 

Not just a place for meals, the Mess Hall will enable the Veterans to get together, share stories, laugh, or just relax in the den complete with fireplace, books, comfortable furnishings, and tables and chairs for a game of cribbage, checkers, chess, or other games.  There will be computers available for those Veterans who will take classes at the local community college.

The Mess Hall will also house two offices where Veterans can have private meetings.

There is nothing more beautiful than a plush green garden with a variety of colorful vegetables or a  fruit orchard baring apples, pears, peaches, grapes, and maybe even plums.  The Veterans will be able to not only eat wonderful homegrown vegetables and fruits but, they will be able to help grow them.

Having fresh vegetables during the frigged winter months will be possible because of the temperature controlled greenhouses.  Beautiful plants and flowers will be grown at the nursery.
